Sacrifices: Why Life Doesn’t Work Without Them!!

A long time ago I remember asking my mom, “why do the bad things that happen to us last a long time and why do the good stuff we enjoy go by so fast?” She told me a statement that changed my life from here on out. She said, “Christian your life is what you make it, in your eyes, you may see it that way, but I see a beautiful life I’ve had to give up so much to meet that happiness.” I thought about that statement all through my life and in my trials and temporary struggles I found out that in able for me to get more I would have to give something up. This philosophy can be applied in any situation in life. One morning I woke up and this moment of clarity dawned on me I knew exactly what I had to do. I was in a rut financially and I was pursuing a job I knew could pay me really well. The only thing holding me up was they wanted me to cut my hair they said it was not a professional look.

Therefore a while I thought deeply about it and I understood that in order for me to start receiving more I would have to give something up. So yep! You guessed it I did NOT cut my hair any little weenie hut jr.  job trying to make me cut these beautiful locks I worked so hard on for 10 years can kiss my patootie.  That story was terrible forgive me, but you catch my drift. No? cool bet I’ll try again, the you that desires more and drives you to do more will require you to give certain things up about yourself. Some of these things may be most dear to you and you have an attachment to but where your path is headed will require you to shed some skin. I think you digging me now, I can feel it. I see you smirking right now plotting on “shedding some skin” later on today.

Let it go don’t let it the way you down bring. We are creatures of habit we will find a routine to do things and keep it for a lifetime that’s how smoking becomes such a problem the casual smoke is fine it’s when you do it so much it becomes a lifestyle problem. Giving it up becomes harder to do in your mind but once you dig deep enough you will break habits. You need to know this on your path because at some point or later for you to be great there will be an opportunity for you to break a habit or fall back in the rabbit hole of the same old same old. Us superior-minded folk rise from the ashes like a swan spreading his wings flexing on all the other swans in the pond.

I hope all is well in your space please stay safe lead with grace superior minds are off to the race
